I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Charlie

I'm Available

Charlie is a 12-year-old sweetheart with the spirit of a survivor and the heart of a lap cat. When she first came to us, she was found on the side of a highway - clearly abandoned, dangerously underweight, and covered in wounds. Her glucose levels were off the charts, and she was barely hanging on. But five months of love, care, and medical support later, Charlie has made an incredible recovery. She’s now at a healthy weight and thriving on her current insulin regimen.

Despite everything she's been through, Charlie is one of the most affectionate and outgoing cats you’ll ever meet. She adores cuddling and will happily snuggle up with you for hours. She’s also wonderfully social - getting along great with other cats and dogs. She's often rubbing up on everyone spreading the love.

Don’t let her age fool you; while Charlie is mostly laid-back and calm, she still gets sudden spurts of energy where she’ll play and explore like a curious kitten. She’s very food motivated (treats? yes, please!) and loves sniffing out snacks or adventuring around the house.

Charlie has diabetes, which means she needs insulin shots twice a day for the remainder of her life, but she handles them like a champ. Her condition is well-managed, and she has made amazing progress. She will need to remain on diabetic food as well for the remainder of her life.

Charlie is more than just a special needs cat - she’s a special soul, full of love, resilience, and personality. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will reward you with endless affection and purrs, Charlie is your girl.
